Full, natural brows are definitely having a moment right now. And for good reason: full brows frame your face and can help you to look more polished. Perfect brows are within reach for everyone, even if your brows are naturally sparse. The secret? Eyebrow building fibers. Keep reading to learn how to use brow building fibers to get perfect brows!
What Are Eyebrow Building Fibers?
Forget pencils and powders. Eyebrow building fibers are the best way to create full, natural-looking perfect brows that last. So what are they? The eyebrow building fibers from Toppik are made from colored keratin protein, the same type of protein that is found in your hair. These fibers have a natural static charge that binds to your brow hairs. As a result, brows look thicker and naturally full without looking over-groomed.
Toppik Brow Building Fibers Set includes three pieces to help you style brows:
- Brow Shaping Wax to set and define the shape of your natural brows. The wax is formulated with nourishing mango and cacao seeds to condition the skin and brow follicles.
- Brow Building Fibers adhere to brows, filling in patchiness and giving brows long-lasting thickness.
- The Dual-End Brush ensures a simple and precise application.
Toppik Brow Building Fibers are available in three shades that work with virtually all brow colors. Not sure which shade to choose? Follow this guide:
- Light Brown for grey and blonde hair
- Medium Brown for brown hair
- Dark Brown for dark brown or black hair
If you’re going after a softer look, choose a shade lighter than your natural color. Want bolder brows? Choose one shade darker than your hair color.

7 Pro Tips to Get Perfect Brows with Eyebrow Fibers
1. Hands Off!
The first step in styling perfect brows is to let them grow! Allow brows to grow for six to eight weeks so you can see their natural shape and learn exactly what you’ll have to work with.
Perfect brows are not “one size fits all.” You can measure your brows to help you to find the perfect brow shape for your face. We recommend using a eyeliner pencil to mark each measurement.
To find the inner corner of your brow, hold a pencil vertically at the middle of each nostril and mark where the pencil crosses your brow. Next, pivot your pencil to the outside of your iris to find your arch. Then turn the pencil to the outer corner of your eye to find where your brows should end.
It may sound counterintuitive, but trimming your brows actually makes them look fuller. To trim brows, first use a spoolie brush to brush the brow hair up. Using nail scissors, trim any individual hairs that are extra-long.
Forget waxing or threading. If you want natural-looking brows, plucking is your best bet to shape eyebrows. But remember the number-one rule of plucking: less is more.
Always use natural light and a regular (non-magnifying) mirror when plucking your brows. Pluck any stray hairs between, underneath, and outside the brows.
Hint: if you find tweezing too painful, heat can help open up the follicles for easier plucking. Apply a warm washcloth to the area for one minute or take a hot shower before plucking.
5. Cool Off
Even the most seasoned pluckers experience some irritation after tweezing. Reduce pain and irritation by applying ice to your brows for a few minutes before or after tweezing. You can also remove redness by applying a small amount of aloe vera to the affected area.
6. Wax On
Swirl the angled side of the Toppik Dual-End Brush into the Shaping Wax in your Toppik Brow Building Fibers Set. Then, lightly apply the Shaping Wax to eyebrows to smooth and define the shape of your natural brows.
7. Apply Fibers
Dip the other rounded side of the Dual-End Brush into the Toppik Brow Fibers. Gently dab a small amount of Fibers onto eyebrows to fill in patchy areas, creating definition and instant fullness.
And that’s it! It’s super-easy to get natural-looking, perfect brows that look good all day.
