Rated 4 out of 5 by DenverBob from Does what it says. I use this product to cover bald spots caused by Alopecia Areata. The product covers well if the scalp is completely dry on application. It works best if you have at least some hair to comb over the application area. I found the sponge useless and instead use an eye liner brush to paint the product on. This helps avoid over application, and looks better too. Unlike the Toppik powder, it does not itch, though it will still come off on you hand if you touch areas where the product has been applied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by diamond from customer service It would be great if you actually had the product in stock...I have been waiting for 3 weeks and told today part of my order is there and part isnt. Then instead of sending me the part that was there and send the rest later....they wanted to cancel my entire order. try sending people messages that the product is back ordered. Send what is there...and notify if backordered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by musicguy from Completely Useless I've used Toppik before and it is definitely a great product. I like Caboki a little better because it looks a little more natural. But I tried out Couvré last week because I was going water skiing and wanted something that wouldn't wash away in the water. They are correct that it doesn't wash off in the water but it was almost a joke when I applied it. It looked like I had painted my scalp with oil paints. The fine hairs in the balding areas were flattened down to the scalp and it looked like a bad art experiment. So yeah won't be using Couvré ever again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Robbie from HORRIBLE!!! I purchased this product awhile ago and will never ever use it again! I cannot believe that this company can make a claim that this does not rub off your scalp even after this disgusting paint and I will call it paint is on your scalp for several hours and you run your fingers through your scalp it is all over your fingers! It is not waterproof so they claim has a heavy odor just like oil paint and does not cover your scalp completely and looks totally unnatural! Do yourself a favor do not and I will repeat do not purchase this product it is a total waste of money!!! Stick with the hair fibers from this company it is the most natural looking and stays on better I feel that ever since this company decided to branch out with different products after the Toppix hair fibers they failed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JALP from Does the Job I have bought this product previously. It covers the thinning spot pretty well. The only drawback is that despite blotting it after application, it will leave stains on shirt collars and bath towels. It is easier to apply than other products I have used.

I just found out about this product and need auburn but you are discontinuing that color. Any other place that I can buy something similar?
Hi there,We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Have you looked into trying our Fullmore Colored Hair Thickener? We offer that product in an Auburn color and it is similar to the Couvre Lotion, just different in application. We also offer our Toppik Hair Building Fibers in an Auburn color as well. I hope you will give one of these products a try!-Toppik Customer Service

I have been using CRC concealing cream in medium brown for years, it's been discontinued. I'm searching for something similar and found this. Would you be able to tell me if this would work like the concealing cream?
Hi there,Although I have never used CRC concealing cream before, I did some research and our Scalp Concealing Cream seems to be very similar to the CRC cream. Our Scalp Concealing Cream helps to create the illusion of having thicker, fuller hair. It is used to conceal the scalp in areas where there is thin or thinning hair. We recommend using the Color Blending Elliptical Sponge that comes with the Scalp Concealing Cream to help blend into hair. Please let me know if you have any further questions!-Toppik Customer Service

I use the hair building fibers (travel size), and would like to try using the spray applicator for a more precise application on my hair part. Does your spray applicator come in a small size to use with the hair fibers travel size?
Hi DocCee1,Unfortunately our Spray Applicator only works with Regular (12g) and Economy (27.5g) size Hair Fibers bottles. It does not work with Giant (55g) or Travel (3g) size Hair Fibers bottles. We are always looking to expand our product line though, so I will make sure to forward your note in case we one day decide to make a smaller version of the Spray Applicator.-Toppik Customer Service

Will you be bringing back white in Couvre? The gray is too dark. I used to mix the white with some gray and now I have to use just the gray. Without the white available, I'm forced to consider a wig!
Hi Mary Ann,I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you but unfortunately at this time we are not planning on bringing back the COUVRe in White. Some of our customers have used the COUVRe in Gray with our Toppik Hair Building Fibers in White. I'm not sure if this would work for you or not, but it is something you could consider. If you would like to give our Customer Service Center a call at 1-800-844-2536 they will be able to help you find a product or products that fit your specific hair needs. Again, I apologize for this, but I hope there is another solution for you within our Toppik family.-Toppik Customer Service

I find couvre does not stick to the bald patch. I have tried distilled water rinses of the skin. Can you suggest a solution?
Hi JRoy,You need to make sure the area you are applying to is completely dry and free of any oil. If COUVRe is still not sticking, you can try using a makeup primer on the area before applying. Please let me know if you are still experiencing problems after trying these solutions!-Toppik Customer Service

Why did you discontinue white and blonde Couvre? Will you be making them again?
Hi Deborah,As of right now we are not planning on producing more of our COUVRe product in the White or Blonde colors. We discontinued these colors because we always want to make sure we are offering the most in-demand, productive products that warrant us carrying them and tying up inventory space and dollars, and unfortunately these colors did not hold up to this standard.I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.-Toppik Customer Service
