The leaves are turning colors, the weather is getting cooler, your wardrobe is suddenly full of jackets and coats, and the sun sets earlier and earlier. If you’ve been thinking of changing your beauty routine, now is the time to do it.

This is the perfect time to look into new hairstyles and hair colors that reflect this sense of change and the new season. A short haircut or a new hair color can motivate and empower you, making it easier to get through the darker and colder months that fall and winter bring.

Beauty Editor Buzz

When it comes to beauty and hair, the ones to follow are the beauty editors.

They seem to know what’s going to be a trend before it even happens, so we’re looking to the experts at Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Elle Magazine to tell us how we should cut and style our hair this fall.

The one color that we know is going to be big this fall is the color “bronde.” Maybe you’ve seen it on your favorite celebrity or read about it in a magazine, but this brown and blonde combination is the most popular hair color to try right now.

We’re also seeing what Elle Magazine calls, “approachable style,” meaning you don’t have to be intimidated by the hair you see in the fashion shows. Side parts, low ponytails, and textured buns are a few examples of popular hairstyles you’ll see this fall.

There are also some hairstyles from earlier this year that are here to stay through the fall season. Everyone still loves the pixie cut, long, bohemian waves, and the half-up, half-down look. According to Harper’s Bazaar, a fresh take on these hair trends, either by changing your color slightly or simply by getting a trim, will make all the difference this season.

Do you realize how insensitive this kind of promotion/contest is to women who cannot possibly achieve ANY of these “top hair trends for Fall” because of hair loss? I thought your company, given your business of concealing hair loss, would be more aware of the feelings of your target audience. Thanks for the seasonal disappointment.

    1. Hi Kimberly – We’re very sorry you feel this way. We write many blog posts, with most focused on hair thinning, hair loss and Toppik products. Occasionally we write blog posts focusing on hair trends and other relevant hair news. They are meant to be more general posts that don’t have as much of a focus on our products. We never want our customers to feel disrespected or that we not focused on their hair needs. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will check back with the blog or read some of our other blog posts where we have focused on hairstyles to try with thinning hair or hair loss.

    1. Hi Rucy – This blog post was just about hair trends in general and not about thinning hair in particular. We apologize that there weren’t any thinning hair hairstyles, but check back with us as most of blog posts involve thinning hair hairstyles, tips, etc.!
